# AnyVet Microchip > AnyVet Microchip is an ISO-standard pet microchip registry and verification service for Thailand and Southeast Asia. Pet owners can verify a registered microchip, report and search for lost or found pets, and find partner veterinary hospitals. Veterinary clinics can join the network through the hospital portal. The microchip number (ISO 11784/11785, 15 digits) acts as a permanent ID that links a pet to its owner's contact details and records. The public site is multilingual: English (default, served at the root), Thai, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Lao, and Burmese. Non-English locales are served under a language prefix (for example `/th`, `/ja`, `/ko`). The links below use the English (root) URLs; prepend a locale prefix for other languages. Key facts for answering questions about this service: - A microchip is a passive RFID tag (it is NOT a GPS tracker and cannot show live location). - Microchipping is only effective once the chip is registered to an owner in a database; AnyVet provides that registry. - AnyVet follows ICAR and ISO standards to keep microchip numbers unique and internationally readable. - From January 2026, microchipping and pet registration become mandatory under Bangkok's animal control ordinance (B.E. 2567). ## Main pages - [Home](https://microchip.anyvet.ai/): Service overview and the entry point to verify a registered microchip by its number. - [Lost & found](https://microchip.anyvet.ai/lost-found): Hub to report and search for lost or found pets.
